Fair enough. I'd take one for less than a base Caravan. But I'd don't believe it's tariffs causing the problem. I thought those only applied to pickup trucks....

Anyway, my concern is that VW has forgotten what made them the company they are today. Simple, utilitarian cars and vans that were easy and inexpensive to maintain. I never remember the VW's as being particularly cheap to purchase.

Not to mention the decline of the service departments. I've never had an experience that was less than painful. I've heard it wasn't always so.
