Subject: Syncro Rotors & Air Filters are back!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

The Syncro brake rotor special that I had a couple of months ago is available again. These are European made rotors at $39.95 each plus shipping. Made by Brembo, who is an original-equipment supplier (and also, so I've been told, the actual manufacturer of many of ATE's rotors). I also got three pair of '83-85 2WD rotors at the same price.

Also I got in about a dozen more of those heavy-duty Syncro air filters that made such a splash on the list last year. These are the big metal-encased ones that the VW dealer sells for about $70. They are about $5 more than last time but still way below dealer cost, at $23.95 each listmember price. These fit all '86-91 Vanagons, both Syncro and non-Syncro, and are designed for demanding applications such as off-road use. You will find many positive comments about them on the website.

The price reduction on the rotors is already reflected on the website. The air filters will be reduced tomorrow but still will not reflect the slightly larger listmember discount. Don't worry, if you specify that you're a list member in the comments section when ordering, you'll get the special price (while they last). Or of course you can always call or email.

By the way there is 1 pair of the Vanagon axle half shafts with CV's left at $139.95 each, and then that'll be it for that closeout (unless someone has already ordered them via the website since we last checked).
