I got one of the earlier sets of lights, but I'm not unhappy with them. They have a focused beam which is easy to aim (I don't use them in traffic anyway, 'specially not with the higher wattage bulbs). The sealed beams were replaced with H4's, with 80w lo / 100w hi bulb. Those easily remedied the normal driving lack of light problems. On the dark roads, hitting the hi-beams or the H3's really makes a difference. Not just lighting up the trees, but actually seeing the road (or anything on it). Very nice. and yes, relays are required for this setup: too many amps thru that poor little switch on the dash. http://www.oz.net/~sneakers/quadbus.jpg
