Well I managed to get over to my van and the "do-hickey" is made by Crane Cams. DuOh what else could it be! Its entirely disconnected and there are points in the distributor. However the condenser (looks like) is mounted on the outside of the distributor. As screwed up as everything in this van is I feel it necessary to check every vital part to make sure it is correct. How will I know if this is the correct distributor (.009)? Also new Crane ignitions are about twice as expensive as the Petronix igniter. Crane uses optics, Petronix looks like it uses mechanical. Which would be best?

Sean
