due to extreme negligence by a local service station, it looks like i'm going to be rebuilding the engine on my '82 (wrist pins can't be splash lubricated when there's only a quart of oil total in your engine). My Questions: 1. is there any way to increase the power without swapping engines when i do this rebuild? maybe some performance parts (cylinders, pistons or something) to increase displacement or compression or both? 2. i saw a large capacity oil pan in the JC Whitney catalog. has anyone here used one or know of anyone who has? 3. is there any sort of heavy clutch assembly available? i'll be doing that too, so i thought i should get something as robust as possible thanks jason |
