It worked great for getting in the tight spots in the luggage rack. The results were very good. I fooled several Westy owners at a VW show that thought I had a NOS top installed. Take a look in the latest Hot VWs that shows the results of the Eureka Springs Arkansas show from last fall. I took first place in custom bus. (they didn't show my bus in the mag though) I used oil based enamel that is designed for patio furniture. I know of others that used boat paint. Practise on something else first.
