Hello All! Something that helped the wife's Cabriolet was a new ( I guess) light that Wagner puts out. It's called a 'Brite Light'. They make it in all the usual configurations, speaking of that, isn't the Vanagon a 6054 type bulb? Anyone? Anyways, this brite light has a Xenon bulb and also a different lense configuration that allows more light to the sides. The good news is that it is cheap, no more than 15$ a light, and it is available/orderable at most good parts outlets. Also, it is DOT legal. Someone earlier was looking for heater parts, and some time ago I ran across a German fella who rebuilds them. Every time I call JB heater service for info, no one answers (were talking years here). His name is Ark Mirvis, and he rebuilds heaters. His telephone number is 973-398-6363. If memory serves, he is an engineer by day, and it took him many days to return my phone call. I hope this helps.......... David |
