Hi All, Thinking of converting my single carb set-up to a twin weber version. Just wondered if anybody knew what fits and what doesn't. I don't want to modify the engine hatch cover if at all possible. The engine has just been rebuilt with unleaded twin port heads, new barrels & pistons, bearings etc... In fact I'm still running it in. Favourite choice at the moment is the weber dual 34 ICT setup. At present the engine is completely standard apart from an 009 distributor with pertronix ignition. I also intend to fabricate a better flowing exhaust system whilst retaining the standard heat exchangers (I want to stay warm). The exhaust will happen when the weather is a bit warmer, the carbs could be added at the same time or earlier. Just thinking about what is best before I spend my hard earned cash. Thanks in advance Phil T25 - Still warm but too slow. |
