Hi all,
Someone once posted to this list the only solution that worked for me. In
most cases the drum will not come off because it is seized/rusted at its
mating surface to the hub. I soaked the studs with penetrating oil and then
banged on the drum, but directly onto the face of the drum. But of course
this is hard to do with the 5 studs poking out!! So use some drift or short
metal bar or something to place in between the studs and smack this with a
hand sledge. Go around the drum, and I bet it pops off.

Reach around behind the wheel to the rear of the drum (opposite of where you
put the tires :-). There is a 1/2 inch or so hole behind the back. You may
need to remove a rubber protective plug to get at it. You can then use a
flat screwdriver to ratchet the brakes away from the drum.
I would bang a little harder on the drumb with a hammer. I was surprised
how much force was actually required to loosen the drum from the rust
build-up.
Good luck,
