My 90 Vanagon automatic is dead in the cold of the Chicago winter. Won't crank at all. I am pretty sure it is the starter relay/solenoid problem. Won't even go with a jump. Is there a way to manually make the starter go? I know it is way up under, but could I cross the terminals with a screw driver or something successfully, or is a tow to a warmer climate my only real option? Thanks in advance 90 Carat 167K 90 Carat 67K |
