Tonight I went to the grocery store to get some supper and upon return I noticed an unusually loud tick consistent with RPM. Anyway, I've decided the place to start is by checking valve lash. What I'm curouis about is the fact that I thought my van has hydraulic cam followers, which I didn't think were adjustable. However the rockers have the adjusting stud w/ jam nut. So I'm curious is valve adjustment possible? What is the proper clearance? And where do I need to position the crankshaft for each cylinder? Any advice would be appreciated. By the way I have an 85' GL with a 1.9l. Thanks!! |
