Your problem is not so much the torque, but rather the proper clearance between the bushings and the frame. The eccentric washers by each bushing are also shims. they are available in three different sizes. They should be selected so that the fit against the frame. Usually, there is too much clearance and tightening the bushing bolt will pull the bushings together. This extra squeeze side loads the bushings and causes early failures. Particularly on the Syncros since the cast control arm does not bend easily to compensate.
