Joel, Been using rain-x for years. Works ok as long as you don't get mass doses of salt blown all over you, and then it smears like anything else. I have a deflector on the back of my Blazer, and with the rain-x, it seems to keep the rear window pretty clean. The rear wiper & washer woks ok on the Vanagon, but after a lot of slop builds up on the sides, you can't see anywhere else except where the narrow wiper path is. I'm going to investigate at some parts suppiers, and I'll find something that will work. Thanks, Terry 85 GL"Gerstunken Mobile"
