I had this problem too! It was the connectors on the fuel pump getting wet, the rubber boot was shot. If you didn't know it, the fuel pump hangs under the tank, between the tranny and frame beam, on the left side of the vehicle. So I had to replace the connectors and the rubber boot (got it at the dealer). Be sure to pack in some grease around the connectors when installing them. THis will keep moisture and corrosion away.
