Dear Gin and List,

Before you start tearing your dashboard apart, check the relays above the

fuse panel. I thought my fan or fan switch was moribund when the fan
stopped responding to the switch from time to time ... but in fact it was

just the relay that was corroded. Replaced it; no more problems. Try the
cheap, easy and quick solution first. Hope it works for you as well as it

did for me.
