Hello all,
I am a recent Vanagon owner (88 GL westfalia) and have non technical
question.  How much interior noise is considered 'normal'?  I spent the last
weekend cleaning and greasing the slide door which helped a bunch (door no
longer bounces around over bumps).  Not really sure where the rest of the
rattles and shakes are coming from (possibly the poptop).  I realize that
the ride will never be quiet but would like to hear some general oppinions
as to what I can look for to tighten up or inspect.  I notice distinctive
noise when I go over cracks/bumps with the back wheels, sound familiar to
anyone?
