I've been pulling fuel pumps off wrecks as they are quite expensive from
VW, and even the VW parts stores around San Diego want about $150 and
your old pump to rebuild them.

My question relates to whether there is a difference between the fuel
pump on air cooled Vanagons and later water cooled ones. I have both,
and they have slightly different part numbers although externally they
look the same.

Also, if anyone needs a passenger's side tailight assembly for an '81 or
an '84, or mirrors for either side, I can get them.
