<< Simmer down. If you've got a problem with Vic responding to your emails, why not "extend him the courtesy" of telling him so via a personal message. He's obviously going through a hard time and doesn't need list members slamming him publicly. Besides, I've met him in person at his shop and my dealings with him were courteous, fair and quite enjoyable. His inventory was incredible and it's a shame the VW community is going to lose his expertise. Vic: Sorry to hear about the divorce and I wish you well. >>

He elected to use a public forum. He should be prepared to be responded to in the same manner. I have contacted him via pmail at HIS request on his initial posting. He did not respond. He comes back w/ another public solicitation. I do not think it is out inappropriate to let the other members know about my experience w/ an individual, good or bad.

It is unfortunate that people have to go through difficulties in life which make other people's concerns unimportant. However, if you chose to do business anyway, you should be prepared to do just that. Do business. I have been in his situation before. When I was unable to fairly deal with the public, I thought it prudent to put things on hold until I was fully equipped to do so.

Need I remind you that there was another individual who was on this list which had personal problems interfering with his ability to deliver on his promises? People are still hurting from his nonperformance.
