No, it's just bolt on. If the steering wheel sits too far from the coloumn to flip off the turn signals, you need to loosen the 6 mm allen bolt and move the coloumn ass'y a bit towards you. You can also bend the contact spring for the horn a bit to make sure it has proper contact with the wheel.
