Subject: Wanted: Syncro for OME Shock test run.
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

I have an opportunity to start selling Old Man Emu Shocks for the Syncro Vanagon (Rear shocks would work on a regular Vanagon).

These shocks are supposed to be really high quality shocks that are made in Australia for extreme driving conditions.

I know alot has been said on the List about them, etc, but I would like to test these shocks on a Syncro Vanagon before I commit to buying a bunch of them. My only problem is that I don't have a Syncro Vanagon. So I would like to offer a willing syncro owner the chance to have a full set of these shocks for jobber price (rear shocks are below Boge price while fronts are a little above) just to test them out. If you are not happy with them then you can return them for a refund.

I need someone who does alot of mixed driving (on and off road) to get a feel for the shocks full capabilities, and also someone who is an experienced syncro owner. I am only going to do this once, with one customer, so please pmail me if you are interested. My only constraint on the buyer/tester is that he/she do a nice write up for the Vanagon List after they have run the shocks for a while. Let me know if anyone is interested.
