Subject: Parting Out - 4 Vanagons, 5 Buses... UPDATE
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I have been on the verge of tackling the organization and kickoff of Valley Wagonworks used parts sales for a long time. During the annual post-holiday winter slow-down seemed an obvious time to get the ball rolling - hence my original message under this subject heading. Since posting that message not only have we been inundated with orders, but business has picked up again (this is a good thing) and as a result it has taken an unacceptably long time to begin dealing with the flood of requests we've had for parts. I apologize for not being better prepared, and for any inconvenience this has caused anyone.

This situation, although not optimal, is a good excuse for me to reorganize my business. We now have Marco managing the shop with Roger filling in as technician while I reshuffle things in the parts department so that soon we will have an efficient supply line pumping parts from our donor vehicles to your various doorsteps.

For those of you who have requested parts: If you are in urgent need of something, I won't be offended if you find it necessary to look elsewhere. BUT - I hope you can hang in there for a few days longer. I will be able to begin filling orders in earnest by February 1st at the latest. In fact a few things have already been sent and a couple more are packed and awaiting shipment.

This is also a good spur to instigate the development of the long-awaited parts section of the website (http://wagonworks.com) - this'll take a couple more days. You can also look for stuff to start showing up on E-bay - as we take the vans apart there will be PILES of stuff available that no one has thought about yet. I'll try to post auction alerts as we list things - listees will be offered a 5% discount off the winning bid price.

In the meantime, thanks for you patience!

Coby
