Hi,

We actually addressed this in an earlier post. I don't think you really have to remove the armrest completely in your situation. I just used a shortened allen wrench to loosen (or tighten as the case may be) the two screws holding the bracket to the seat back. Then proceeded to remove completely with a needle nose pliers (by gripping the sides of the screw).

You can tighten them the same way. replacement screws are still available at the dealer but they use phillips heads now and not allens.

Of course if your adjuster came out like mine did, that's a whole 'nother story. DON'T remove the adjuster unless you have to.
