List,
 $2300 for the shortblock and "we don't know when
we can get it" is exactly the same story I
got last fall from my VW dealership.  I wonder
if they're just trying to get out of the
wasserboxer-headgasket-failure business?
If they don't sell anymore wasserboxer's, they
don't have to warrant them!
