Hi Larry, Ken, and Volks, It is very possible to monitor most any pressure or temperature desired. Digi-key makes an 8 pin dual inline chip to monitor pressures. They also offer various temperature sensors. The output from the various sensors could be made selectable to display on a lcd display/ digitool/ or most any analog or digital display / meter. For those of us with lots of time there is a small company Weeder Technologies ( weedtech.com) that make analog and digital input / output kits that attach to a pc serial port. They are reasonably priced, most less than $50. The software program that the pc uses to talk to analog or digital kits are pretty straight forward. As for gauges it seems to me the van coolant temperature gauge does a good job of monitoring the engine temperature. I like a volt meter. Mine has a switch I can select left or right battery. I use an electric oil pressure gauge attached to a switch. The switch has pressure sensors inputs for oil, fuel, and coolant pressure. And of course the digitool does a good job of monitoring the engine electronics. If we don't hold ourselves back a bit many of us will have more gauges than a 747. Seems a couple of years ago Uncle Joel mentioned he feels he is in a cockpit at times and needs to go through a preflight check list. Darrell Boehler
