Thanks to all who replied with advice. If I understand correctlyI would use:
1) a Golf/Jetta gas or diesel 90A alternator 2) a 90A WBX alternator if I
change pulleys 3) a bracket from a Golf/Jetta gas or diesel (this is the
bracket on the waterpump?) 4) larger gauge output wire on the alternator. I
plan on using a Optima deep cucle battery to avoid gassing problems from
charging.
