A westy is a good place to go when you are on the outs with the ol'lady, or when you just want to get away from it all and watch the ball game, without having to make an expedition out of it. A westy is a good place to be if you fall on hard times. Your land lord can evict you, your mortgage company can evict your, but nobody can evict you from your Westy.
