Subject:      Syncro loss made me sick

I saw a add for a 87 vanagon for 1200 bucks,it was in the paper for 3
weeks so I decided to call and see what was wrong with it.I went out to
look and it was a Syncro with 150k on it.It ran good,it just was a
little dirty.
 The guy was not there so I franticly tried to get a hold of him,he sold
it to some other guy that day for 800 bucks.I offered him the 1200 but
principle was more important,since he told the guy he would take the
payment of 800 later.
 I dont think he knew what he had,he told me he was selling it for a
friend.
I was really bumed out for a week,but I guess thats the way the ball
bounces.
  Anyway I just had to let you know what a deal of the centry I lost out
on.
