" a Jag" he wrote. True story. Used to own a '66 4.2 E type roadster. Needed an exhaust system. Went to about 5 different flaps and purchased the muffler, the pipes and those sexy chrome resonators. Spent about $300. Decided that with that kind of investment, I ought to buy the proper hangers. The ONLY source was the dealer. Went and bought (with a 30% discount) six, mabe seven bonded mounts. Measured about 1"x2" each. Two pieces of flat strapping with one 5/16" hole punched in each bonded to a piece of rubber about an inch square. I carried them out in a v. small papar bag. Cost? $325. Sold the Jag.
