Last summer I pulled into a camping spot, lifted the rear hatch to start
setting up camp, and found water dripping out at the rear of the van.  I
have an 82, so where would the water come from?  The water tank?  Nope.
How would it get to the back?  The rear window washer?  Nope.  After five
minutes of absolute befudlement I discovered that the nozzle on my shower
bag, in the luggage depression in the roof, had worked its way into the
'on' position.  Water had filled up the depression, run out through the
drain hole, back along the gutter, and down the side.  Moral: make sure the
nozzle is fully in when you start driving.  Maybe fasten it with an elastic
band.  But they're a great addition to the van.
