Hi Bob,

What if the mounting surface that the pump body attaches to is warped or somehow no longer true ? Would bolting the pump dowm distort the shaft & seal orientation and wear the seal quickly ? Can the water pump mounting flange be straight-edged or checked side-to-side with a dial indicator?
