This is where I plan to put mine. I will trim the metal lip away for easy access without moving the seat (or leaving the seat for that matter). I will add a six disc. I'm not sure if there is enough clearance here for a 12 even trimming some of the metal lip away. I recommend Kenwood decks also. I just got the KDC-7009. REALLY cool. Face is motorized and flips around when unit is off leaving only a black panel. Very stealth since I don't have an alarm and don't want one. Also, you might want to get a unit that has remothe control capability. Mine does and is hardwired (with extra fuse). It is EVEN COOLER to be snug in bed up top and be able to turn on your favorite "mood" music. :-)
