Subject: Possible '80 Westy toaster FS

Well, remember the story the other day about the fire I put out in the '80 Westy? Well it looks like the insurance company is going to total the car. The owner told me that she feels like "Cinderella when her Chariot turned back into a pumpkin". I mentioned that there may be someone on the list interested in picking up the car.

I don't know what the insurance company will want for it, but would anyone be interested in a slightly toasted '80 Westy located in Santa Barbara, CA? It looked like it was in decent shape, and it honestly didn't burn that much.

Also, what kind of an adjustment should she expect from the insurance company? Any advice?

Brent Christensen '89 GL Syncro Westy Santa Barbara, CA
