My wife and I camped with our daughter the first time when she was 3 months old. For 10 days, we slept upstairs and she slept in the "way" back, with the back seat in the normal position. (This allowed us to get up in the morning while she was still sleeping and make coffee, etc.) We made a very cushy and comfy bed for her with a down comforter and a "lambie" (those of you with infants know what I am talking about). I'm sure there would be plenty o' room for twins until they are over a year old.

Heck, we even slept in there for two nights with my wife and I upstairs, my brother and his wife in the "downstairs" bed, and our daughter on the floor in her little cocoon. It was quite cozy - we just had to make a rule that anyone getting up to relieve themselves in the middle of the night had to turn on the lights first... :-)

Here's a brain teaser for all of you parents.....what my wife and I would like to know (make that NEED to know, in the next five months) is how do you sleep with twin infants plus two adults in a Westy? I know....one of us up alone and the other down with the twins, but how workable is this in reality? And will the upper bunk both fit and hold me? I'm 6'5" and probably 270 lbs. Can the bunk actually hold this big body? Comfortably?

At least this one inquiring mind would like to know.
