Subject: 85 Westy Fair Market Value--Addendum
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Listmembers,

Sorry for the lack of info in my first message. I originally didn't plan on making it a "for sale" message or I would have put that in the subject line.

I am located in Indianapolis, Indiana. I purchased the Westy from an owner in Columbus, Ohio. I think this Westy is in the $6k to $8k range.

=====

My wife, a queen of convenience, is requesting a minivan to replace our little-used '85 water-cooled Westy, "Tinkerbell." I am loathe to let her go but am being "reasonable." She's a beautiful van. I have all the original docs. She sold new for $18K in '85 (I have the sticker). Some options include: 4 spd AC (works great) AM/FM Cassette

If anyone remembers the $21,000 Gold colored Westy that went up for sale in the recent past, and viewed the ad, that is what my Westy looks like without all the extras. She's got 136K Miles on her and looks great. I am the third owner and have kept her garaged. There are a few items which should be replaced to make her of show quality. But these are pretty minor imho. She drives great, and has been very dependable.

Right now I am simply going to accept reasonable offers (not looking for offers anywhere close to $21K) from members on the list. I will publish pictures or mail pictures on request. I can arrange to borrow a digital camera if a serious individual wants detailed photos.

YOu may contact through email for additional info.
