I hesitate to suggest this but . . .

It was recommended to me that I put ONE capful of brake fluid in my tranny as a temporary fix. run for a couple hundred miles and see if any difference. If not, add another and repeat. This advice was for an old Volvo, and the second capful worked! Apparently, the brake fluid conditions and swells the seals.

Important -- If you use too much, the tranny will not work at all.
