Subject: Headlight washers for winter driving
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

hello folks.

Yesterday as I was doing some work on my westy, I came up with a bright idea. some may want to try this if you live in a place like Vermont. If some of you dont know in the winter the slush and dirt and salt in the winter, form a terrible film on the headlight lenses and causes decreased lighting. SO IN ORDER TO REMEDY THIS: I went to my "parts" van and took the windsheild squirters from it. I then went to local HM DPT. and purchased vinyl tubing and junctions to tap into existing line. I then mounted the Squirters on the lower corner of the plastic grille and aimed them towards the lights,(the nozles are adjustable so I fine tuneds em later) ... and I added enough xtra line so I can remove the grille and service anything without the hassle of removing the lines. It works extremely well. and keeps the lights WICKED clean... If anyone has time o thier hand try it .. It took all of 60 minutes start to finish. and looks Factory.

Good luck and

CHeers

Chris
