the 74 busses have rubber elbows on the cross over pipes and idle
tubing if it runs ok cold and not and not so hot when warmed up then a
vacuum leak is possible. The fuel pump push rod wears out it gets
shorter over time this gives lower fuel volume. the first symtoms are at
full throttle as you go up a hill on the highway the van just dies
because it runs out of fuel because the travel of the arm on the pump is
to short
