Bob, David (and All),
OK, now that I fully understand the issues and problems you guys see and
are dealing with, I am confused. I just did my engine so I want to
understand and learn what is happening. Bob, I followed your procedure and
it seems to have worked very well (I have not done a compression test yet).
I have a question though, when I was at 6 mils lash, my engine sounded like
a coffee can full of marbles rolling down a hill, when I adjusted per the
process, my engine Humms beautifully (sounds a little like a Porsche engine,
if I close my eyes I think I am standing next to a 911). Can you please
explain and keep me honest (and my engine from burning a valve or two).
Thanks for your time and effort.
Rich
