In situations like this you have to focus on the positive aspects, and make light of the negatives. Much like a job interview. For instance if you have kids, emphasize its people carrying abilities. Get out the photo album and remind her of all the great times you spent in it. Its essential to take care of the mechanical niggles. If its a wreck better to sell it rather than allow all Vanagons to get a bad reputation. You can always buy a better one later. |
