Like mobil 1, the quakerstate product is a PAO/ester blend. Unless you can get it at some significantly low price, its not worth it. For the same money the Mobil 1 product is better. Personally I'd run a diesel synthetic oil. Chevrons delo synthetic 5w40 is great for this. Its cheap ( relative to other synthetics ) and performs VERY well. Its an all fleet oil and is designed to be used in gas or diesel engines. The higher level of detergents means that gas engines stay cleaner then they would on a normal SJ gasoline rated synthetic.
