Hello, My current cruise is an AudioVox purchased at a local FLAPS. It says that it won't work in a Vanagon, but the issue turns out to be that the wires are too short between the actuator and the control head. I spliced. All the aftermarket cruises that I have liked seem to come from the same source regardless of brand name. The distinguishing feature is what is called an "electronic clutch switch." In my experience, the cruises that have a mechanical clutch switch are inferior in other ways which may not be evident until they are installed. Thanks for asking, Mike '84 GL '60 Vespa '58 Isetta |
