I have a sismilar problem with my 84,I replaced all sensors,and the harness you
are speaking to stabilize voltage.The harness worked for a week then went back
to the irratic performance like before.
I am still in limbo on this one,I have spent a lot of time on it.
Hope the harness helps you,I know it has helped some people out.
