Chris, I assume you mean wheel stud when you say lug. These studs are pressed into the flange, and if you have enough clearance behind it you can drive it out, stick in a new one and use the lugnut to pull it into place (usually with the wheel in place). If you don't have enough clearance between the flange and the backing plate behind it, you will have to remove the flange. Refer to the Bently or Haines for this procedure.
