Kevin, may I recommend Steve Nechodom, who runs a shop called Karmakanik. Here is an exerpt from a review on him. This is the way I'd run a VW repair shop... -Anyway, he rents space at Charlie's Garage, and I highly recommend him. He is more like a car physician than mechanic, does a complete check-up the first time you come in, prioritizes repairs, takes your budget into account, tells you more than you can absorb about the inner workings of your car... I believe he works on Audis, too. -- KARMAKANIX VOLKSWAGEN AUDI 2503 10th St Berkeley CA 94710 (510) 548-4494 -- R o Antaki Many a man thinks he is buying pleasure, when he is really selling himself to it. -Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)
