If you know who to talk to about this please let me know. I found out the hard way that a gas Vanagon tach won't work in a diesel Vanagon (I just assumed it would, but the signals are different). I am trying to locate a diesel Jetta tach right now to modify one of the gas Vanagon instrument clusters I have left for a customer. If anyone can help me either find a good used diesel tach from a Jetta, or find some kind of rectifier to allow me to use the gas tach in a diesel, please let me know.
