| In my report on servicing my fridge I forgot to mention one thing. I | found the exhaust pipe cracked, where it bends to go through the van's wall, | when I removed the fridge

I found the same thing when I removed my fridge a couple of summers ago. A new fridge exhaust pipe costs around $50 CND so I simply wrapped multi layers of aluminium muffler tape around the crack. It's holding up well so far.

It's probably a good idea for everyone to check the condition of the fridge exhaust pipe from time to time. You don't want any exhaust fumes to be finding their way into the van's interior.
