I assume you mean the vinyl edging covering the plywood ends.  Others on
the list have had success removing this (carefully), heating in hot
water, smoothing it out and reinserting.  Easy enough to try.  This trim
is available in woodworking supply stores and catalogs if you want to
replace it.
