You'll love this. This afternoon, I was talking to my Escrow Officer who happens to live on that very section of street that you are referring to. She was telling me what a great street she lived on except for the occasional homeless person sleeping in "VW Hippie Vans". She started to tell me how horrible people who own VW vans must be. That is, until I stopped and reminded her that parked in front of the Mercedes, Porsche, & BMW's I own is my pride and joy. One metallic beige 87 GL.
