A recent post concerning floormats brought to mind something that's puzzled me about the driver's side floormat for a long time. The underside of my factory installed driver's side floormat has a fabric loop sewn into it on the side closest to the seat. I have no idea what it's purpose may be. Simply to suspend on a hook for drip drying after washing? The passenger side floormat has no loop on its underside.
