>Early in January I bought 4 Michelin Agilis tires (Agilis 61 TL, 185 14 80 >load index 99/97 at 54psi) ), for my '82 westy, replacing the Yokohama 370s >(195 75 load range D) that i have been using for the last three years and >40,000 miles.

Hi All, I just took a pair of used up Agillis tires off of my Westy Syncro. I removed them after 53,000 miles and there was still tread left. I could have squeaked another 8 or 10 thousand out of them I think. The tread wear was very even. Good tires. I put another new set back on. The new ones sure are quiter with all of the rubber.
